Congressman Meuser, a Republican representing Pennsylvania’s 9th Congressional District since 2019, brings a wealth of experience to his role. Before his tenure in Congress, Meuser served as Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Revenue from 2011 to 2015 under Governor Tom Corbett. In this capacity, he transformed the Department of Revenue into a more taxpayer-friendly agency, earning recognition from the Council on State Taxation for significant improvements in efficiency and service quality.
Before entering public service, Meuser was an executive at Pride Mobility Products, a manufacturer of motorized wheelchairs. During his time there, he helped grow the company from $2 million in sales to over $400 million, showcasing his acumen in business development and job creation.
In Congress, Meuser serves on the House Financial Services Committee, where he chairs the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, and on the House Small Business Committee.
