Mike Ciprello is a seasoned underwriting professional with over a decade of experience in alternative finance, specializing in revenue-based financing, portfolio management, and risk assessment. As a Senior Underwriter at CFG Merchant Solutions®, Mike plays a critical role in evaluating complex funding requests, structuring responsible deals, and supporting long-term portfolio performance.
Mike joined CFG Merchant Solutions® in 2018 and has since advanced into a Portfolio Manager role, where he oversees underwriting strategy, analyzes performance trends, and helps ensure consistent, data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Mike leads a seven-person underwriting team at CFG Merchant Solutions®, working closely with key team members Christopher Fina, Liam McLaughlin, Owen McLaughlin, Lia DeGaetano, Chris Zanelli, and Nicholas Scribani.
Prior to CFGMS, Mike held senior underwriting and leadership positions at several prominent funding firms. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for underwriting high-volume RBF portfolios, developing underwriting rules and guidelines, managing collections, producing detailed performance reports, and mentoring junior underwriters.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a minor in Information Technology from Monmouth University.
