Rob Abolt is a Senior Underwriter and Team Lead at CFGMS with more than a decade of underwriting experience in the revenue-based finance industry. Rob brings deep expertise in assessing risk, structuring deals, and supporting small and mid-sized businesses in need of fast, reliable capital. Since 2015, he has served as an Underwriter for Apple Garden Ventures LLC under CFG Merchant Solutions®, where he evaluates bank statements, revenue trends, and operational stability to deliver clear, data-driven funding decisions.
Rob serves as team lead for an underwriting group that includes Brian Fox, Aidan Dougherty, Dylan Lloyd, Stefanie Abolt, Connor Kraus, and Jake Buchner. The team collaborates closely to maintain consistency, accuracy, and disciplined risk management across a diverse portfolio of funding transactions.
Rob began his career at Snap Advances, where he advanced from Junior Underwriter to Senior Underwriter, gaining hands-on experience in credit evaluation, portfolio performance, and merchant support. His background across multiple funding environments gives him a strong perspective on responsible underwriting and tailored financial solutions.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Monmouth University and is known for his analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to supporting sustainable small business growth.
