Jay Wood has over two decades of experience in information technology, infrastructure, and systems operations across financial services, software, and government-regulated environments. He joined CFG Merchant Solutions (“CFGMS”) in 2022 and currently serves as Director of IT.
At CFGMS, he successfully transitioned the company from outsourced IT services to a fully in-house operation, supporting more than 100 users across multiple states. His leadership has driven major initiatives including cloud-based VoIP migration, cybersecurity and anti-phishing implementations, modernization of end-user systems, and the buildout of new office infrastructure.
Prior to CFGMS, Mr. Wood held senior IT and operations roles where he served as the sole or lead technical resource, managing complex networks, virtualized server environments, and mission-critical systems, including platforms subject to government security audits.
Mr. Wood studied Electronics at the Arundel Institute of Technology and attended the University of Maryland.
